Description

This is a Beginners DIY workshop in Terryglass Co Tipperary on Saturday July 22nd 2023. Eircode will be supplied nearer the time to all participants.

It will run from 10.30am to 4pm, lunch and all equipment is included in the price.
However if you have a drill of your own and wish to learn to use it, please bring it with you ( and let me know )

On the day you will learn :
1. How to use a cordless drill
2. The composition of a plasterboard wall and how to drill into it
3. How to find the studs in the plasterboard wall and how to use wall anchors
4. How to hang a shelf and ensure its level
5. How to cut wood using a sliding mitre chop saw and a jigsaw and of course a mitre box and hand saw
6. How to make and complete a small project using the skills you learned on the day. You will take this completed project home with you.

As there are only a few spots per workshop, bookings are on a first come first serve basis and deposits are non refundable, unless your spot can be filled before the event.
